How much does the "brand" of golf clubs affect your

game? I'm thinking of "investing" and getting myself a nicer set of clubs. I haven't started looking yet, but I know when I do, I'll probably end up with a new set. I have a "costco" set (Jack Nicklaus) and do ok. Can I get more yardage and control with a set of Pings, Callaways, etc?

for me its all about the name brand, i'm not the best golfer but if i hit with any name brand i always hit better, for example my grandpas driver that i used to use is a few years old, just before the huge club head phase hit now i cant hit it because i have no faith in it i guess what i'm trying to say is that you will play a little better with name brand clubs because you will be more confidant in them not just because they are a name brand
